Similar to the Greek underworld, this one is built based on the mythology of the Egyptians. There are 2 "entrances" to Duat, one for the spirits who have to pass a series of trials to determine which section of Duat they go to live their deaths, and the other for the Warriors of Anubis. The Warriors entrance is hidden within a pyramid, its path deep under the chambers so it is not accidentally stumbled upon. To enter the path, the warrior has to push a stone in the pyramid's outer wall and then reach inside for the lever for the door.
Once within Duat, there are a variety of areas for the spirits all surrounding the main palace, the Temple of Anubis. The palace is made of sandstone and is a classic Egyptian style, with mummified soldiers on the steps to guard it. Many of these guards have a mask or headdress on with various gods depending on their rank in the previous life. The palace is fairly simple inside, a main throne room sits directly in the center with a hallway on either side. These hallways lead to the Warriors quarters and each is labeled with their name. Behind the throne is a door that leads to Anubis's office and then off that is his room which is only slightly larger than the Warriors rooms. The end of each hallway leads to the dining hall/pavilion which is located behind Anubis's room and office.
